Nineke Metz

Nineke brings over 20 years experience in tourism marketing, planning, sales and public relations. She has built extensive relationships with industry partners in New Zealand and international. She worked for Lankhorst PR in the Netherlands with clients Tourism NZ and Air NZ. As International Marketing Manager for Destination Northland (now Northland Inc), she successfully represented Northland tourism businesses at TRENZ and during in-market sales visits in the US, UK/Europe and Australia.

In her latest role as Sales & Marketing Manager for Waitangi Treaty Grounds, the Treaty Grounds established relationships with all the major touring wholesalers, won 4 industry awards: NZ Museum Award and NZ Tourism Award in 2016. NZ Tourism and Northland Business Award in 2017, and received Qualmark Gold in 2017.

Nineke Metz has had a strong association with Grand Pacific Tours for many years. Nineke has been actively involved in several roles focused on developing tourism strategies in the Northland Region.
